Well... many things had happened during this hiatus... hmmm... of cos the biggest being me breaking up with my ex... It was not meant to be... So... with a painful heart, I tore apart frm it. Now tt i see her living a happier life (i really hope)

i am happy for her.

Work has been another bugging factor, the load jus adds up... sumtimes i sense that i'm near breaking point... heaving my emotions up and down -_-...

But well my frens, i'm still well... And CNY is approaching, yeap, happy season everyone! XD

It is one of those days... yet again..

I dunno where or how to start.. jus feel like typing away, jotting anything down whatever comes into my mind.... I feel sad, real sad... perhaps a thot or sumthing i saw? i dunno... here i am, listening to the tunes playing in my player, immersed in my inner ramblings, feeling so lost, so helpless... sumtimes i really wonder, can anyone help me out of this? WILL there be anyone who can pull me out of this...

Desperate is the word.... such a convenient word.... help help help help help help help help help help help help help help and it goes on and on. right now, i'm crying inside, call me weakling, i dun care.. who can I talk to?? i mean REALLY tok to?? u might tink parents... yes no doubt, but.. but... sumtimes u feel tt its not enuff... right?? at least for me yes... my mind's in a mess... so many issues bothering me, can't tink, can't do anything right... emo? no... rather depressed... so many things in life, i wish i could jus go do it... but i jus cannot bring myself to do it.. i jus can't, CAN'T! Caught the second installement of "Red Cliff" by John Woo with frens on fri evening. it lived up to expectations i wld say... great cinematics, a truly awesome viewing experience!!

A very cute animation... heart-warming story between a boy and a cute magical creature, affectionately known in the film as Ponyo.

Was actually contemplating to watch either ong bak or ponyo... lolx.. in the end, I chose Ponyo... and nvr regretted my decision... lolx

Nope, its not a room where ppl do pumpings.. lolx (ok.. i noe.. its not funny XD) Or rather a bar bistro... but after 10pm, it will be converted into a club...

after work, me and two other guys, wh and james... well i've heard news of the said place...and its nth short of good feedbacks thus when the plan to go was formalised, I was raring to go :p

well reached PUMProom at around 6.40pm... though when we looked in and saw the place rather empty... we were told by the waitress that the place is almost fully booked, but luckily she offered to help us to check for vacancies....

And Delightedfully, after a brief wait, a vacancy!! we were led to our table... the place's very nicely done up, nice ambience, nice lightings and all... IMPRESSED!!

We duly ordered our dinner and the main item of the visit, BEER!! they brew their own beer and as recommended by the waiter, it was the most popular choice. thus it ends up with me ordering the Pumproom brewed beer, wh's India pale ale and james's scottish ale. It didn't take long for them to deliver us our beers... we cheered and took a sip at our beers... mine was quite nice.. hmm~ then we passed our drinks around for tasting... hmm wh's choice was nice too, but it was a lil bitter... james's choice was smooth and sweet... but the aftertaste was rather queer... lol but overall all were good!! IMPRESSED NO 2!!!

Did i mention tt they did not take long to deliver our beers ?? well same goes to the food... they were efficient and spontaneous to attend to the guests' needs.. and very friendly at tt too... =) IMPRESSED NO 3!!

well, for the rest of our stay there, we chatted and drank.... nice~ nth short of a relaxing fri night dinner....

haha.. when we called for the tab, the waiter was rather suprised and asked:

"aren't you staying for the clubbing part??"

"oh, i wld've loved to, but me and my frens are tired for the day"

"Oh, hope to see you again"

"Sure!! See you again"

...And i meant that.... =D

IMPRESSED + IMPRESSED NO 2 + IMPRESSED NO 3= I'LL BE BACK (LoLx!)

A night out with frens... Happy Birthday Bunny!!

haha... a simple post..

Another night of fun... thanks for the invitation bunny!!! woo hoo~! Well its a night where i see a different but delightful side of bunny.... =D lolx (right bunny?)
but wells, of cos i was't alone... prawn, mich, kelly, jessica were also there ;)

but first, its dinner at Shokudo japanese food bazaar... oh it was nice nice nice...i tink the omelettes there are nice... ambience is nice.. ideal for gatherings... theres even neoprint machines in there.. lol...

after which, we headed down to clark quay area... we went IndoChine Forbidden City... haha.. met up with alex - my unit mate, who is also bunny's sec sch fren.. such a small world eh! well he was good enuf to bring us in with sum 'privelege! =P in there, basically, music music music and of cos, a bday cake for the bday boy... and oh my, prawn and kelly can dance (yea.. we managed to pull them two to the dance floor =D )

after that, everyone got tired.. we went down to whiskey bar down at boat quay for sum chilling..
and.. tt was when i saw the diff side of bunny.. lolx..

Overall, I had an enjoyable night...

Well.. i can now say that I had one of the most enjoyable Friday nights .... haha...

Well, the night started with me clicking on the "Logout" button in my computer screen at my workplace... then, me and the gang waited for each other to settle their misc tasks... And.... we were going to the KTV!!! hahaha...

Well its abt 7.15pm when we get there... luckily WH made a reservation, we were able to get a room fast.. hehe.. and of cos, 2 more joined in after that =) and as usual, we sang our hearts out... but too bad 2 of them haf to leave early... =/

So we lala-ed till 11pm...we promptly made our leave... this is when one of my colleague fren asked me and the others whether do we wan to go St James. at first, i rejected... but after managing to convince one of my colleague fren to go... haha.. i gave in... =p Initially think there were 3 of us who agreed to go... but halfway to the MRT station, haha, one fren changed his mind.. -__-" lolx but ok la, there will be another time!!

so the rest of us happily made our way down to St James... reached there abt 1130pm... oh my, at first i was abit apprehensive as this is the first time i've been to places like this (yes yes, laugh all u can) haha.. and my fren assured me tt i will not regret it... And she was right! haha.. okok.. when we were there, met up with 3 more ppl... and headed to Dragonfly... a few rounds of drinks were passed around... and we drank, talked and danced to the beat.. and man, now i know why ppl can get so high at clubs... wahahaha!!

Dragonfly's theme was boring my fren's boyfriend though.. wahahaha.. with live bands... not tt its not nice... but having slower tempo songs played.. it jus kills the feel... lolx.. thus with that, we headed to Movida instead.. it was much much better than dragonfly... and the gang practically danced the night away till 5am.. =)

After that we headed down to Geylang for sum dim sum, more chat and jokes... haha but by then, we were bushed.. especially my fren, who was practically half asleep at the table... it was not long after we call it a day... time? 5.50am.. each of us hailed our cabs and happily went home... by the time i got home, it was 6.10am already...

I practically crashed to the bed after shower...

and sry.. was having too much fun to take photos... =/

but well watever~ lol

Today when i was, as usual, listening to my music in a train cabin... A cry caught my ear's attention and then eventually mine...

It was a toddler's cry...

I looked over to the direction of the source and there is this cute caucasian toddler... and he was throwing a tantrum... He was kicking his legs into the air, yelling, crying. The parents really had their hands full with this child.. haha... but well, the toddler's not that bad afterall, he responded well to his parents teases and tickles.. after awhile, convinced tt he was satisfied, parents went back to their conversation... Seeing this, the toddler kicked up a fuss again... And then it occurred to me that - this little king has unsatiable appetite for attention...

But he was lucky - cos he had a very spontaneous grp of by-standers.. haha.. it seemed like this lil king has this x-factor... it got everybody around him smiling including me! haha.. sum were even making faces at him... in the midst, out came the trusty ragdoll... lolx.. this is the funniest... At first, he was jus holding it... waving it around, smiling as he does it (due to the BIG attention he's getting.. and he's luving it) and then, it dropped from his hands.... a helpful man picked it up and hand it to him..

And guess wat he did next?

Yes (to some) he looked at the man and he threw it onto the floor... Oh, u shld haf seen his face, he was looking (or staring?? hmm) at the man expectantly when he threw the doll... he was doing it deliberately!! lolx.. a very light-hearted moment i wld say... tt move made me thought (at that moment) that life is still beautiful... hmmm.. but subsequently the ragdoll was confiscated by the mother... and the poor little king was back to his rantings...

But oh well, toddlers will be toddlers... we are all guilty of that right?? ahahhaa... too bad i cannot get a picture of the lil king... hes cute...

Jus sumthing share, hope it brought a smile to ur face or at least ur heart... =)

Well, the first ever F1 night race had jus ended and was it exciting!! Like the commentator said "Its a truly eventful race" the fight for placing and timing.... attacks here and there... it is almost as heart stopping as watching 2 men fight...

Watching the cars attacking the corners and negotiating bends, amazing feeling.... this race had definitely made history in the F1 books... KUDOS TO THE PEOPLE WHO MADE THIS POSSIBLE!!!

Watched the practice runs by the cars?? yes?? yes?? Well i've watched it.... and it was electrifying....

Witnessing F1 cars zooming past on the Marina Bay Street Circuit for the first time was truly a remarkable experience.... The road was very well lit!! it looks as if it is daytime... The First ever night race in F1 history is being held here in this little island we call home... Looks like we had sumhow made another mark in world recognition... =)

Alonso turned out to be the one who clocked the fastest lap in the 2nd practice run... Hamilton clocked the fastest at the 1st practice but we all noe that the other drivers are not giving their all... afterall, its jus a practice run right??

Looking forward to the qualifying runs and the Final race on sat and sun respectively... Who will emerge winner??

We'll soon know~

Today, i saw one of my leaders in my workplace broke into tears today.... She was a very nice lady and shes pregnant.. It sad to be even listening to her conversation (I was seated near her workstation)....

It was obvious that that bugger at the other end was making unpleasant comments and accusations. It was so bad to a point that she had to jus hold and say " I cannot handle him anymore!! " and cry... even me, who was on the line, can't help but to take notice...

Well really.... many ppl think that when they are fierce or forceful they can get things done! BUT NO! they are entirely wrong!!! we are all trying to do our part of our job... why make things difficult for us and yourself??

hmmm caught 2 movies today.... Cyborg She (above) and Death Race

Its been a while since i last watched a romance themed movie... and today the drought ended =)

Directed by the director who brought you "My Sassy Girl", Cyborg She is another must watch movie that will bring tears to your eyes!! Set in year 2008, its abt a lonely guy on his birthday who meets a gal frm the future, got fell in love with her.. but having to return to the future, the gal leaves... with that, the guy went back into his lonely life, missing her presence... A year later, the gal returns, but now, shes a cyborg... it happens that the cyborg was sent back to the past by his older self in the name of protecting him and fulfilling his dream. as days go by, the boy developed feelings for this cyborg... and as the story unfolds, a much more intriguing tale is revealed... Be sure to watch it!!! 4.5/5 Stars

Well... as for Death Race... lol.. too lazy to comment already.... the plot is nth too interesting too.... but i wld say its decent... has adequate action sequence to keep u interested... but sumtimes it gets rather shady in the plot.... Its abt the near future, where america's economy collapses and crime is rampant.... private organisations build correction facilities for profit... and events where prisoners fight it out with their lives.. in the name of entertainment are borned... Death Race is one of them....

A typical "whack'em" action movie... 3.5/5 Stars

A round of applause for our women's table tennis team!!! the final match jus ended... with a score of 3 - 0.

Though its one sided, watching them play tonight, the number '0' didn't seem to dampen anything at all... Our team had put up a great fight against the China team which was much much more skilled in their play... I admit that we still haf much to improve on if we want to beat them...

However, i must commend Feng Tian Wei, for showing peseverence. Facing Wang Nan of China in match, can be a stressful encounter as Wang Nan is the more experienced Veteran amongst the other players. But, Feng Tian Wei had shown tremendous fighting spirit. As the game progressed and proving to be futile for her, Feng Tian Wei did not falter... She continued to pester Wang Nan with well placed smashes and fast comebacks .... It was obvious Wang Nan's play was much superior than Feng Tian Wei's. Attacks were swift and precise.... As fast as the ball travelled, the game ended in mere 35 -40 mins. Feng Tian Wei had performed extraordinary tonight or shld i say, in her entire course of competition in this Olympics.

Nevertheless.... A Silver!!!

GOOD JOB TEAM SINGAPORE!!! GO GO GO!

Congrats to our Women's table tennis team!!! they haf ended the country's 48 yrs Olympic medal drought.... The Team had shown tremendous fighting spirit and concentration in their game with another giant, South Korea's Team.

Now we haf at least a silver medal in our hands... Will we clinch the gold?? we'll see this coming sunday at the finals... =)

Go! Go! Singapore!!!

Hmmm.... for a very long time, has my gaze in my choice of music wondered far out.... maybe too far out...

well.. a couple of months back, i came to know of a local band "Electrico". my first impression was "oh? but well i'm sure its nth too special" How wrong was I!!

Recently, while i was tuning into Lush 99.5, i happened to listen to an interview with the band... and then they performed a small part of their new song.

Well, i was impressed. It was nice... totally brushing away my past perceptions!

Shame on me !!

Hmmm.. they've released their 3rd album "We Satellites" recently. Am considering getting one of the copies =)

National Day Parade 2008

Ah... 43yrs had passed....

Happy Birthday Singapore!!!

as one of the main highlights of the day, the NDP is always the one to look forward too!! every year, though not there physically, i will catch the NDP without fail... =)

This yr's NDP i must say, though having small glitches here and there (those that i saw through the telecast), its one of the best parades.... the airshow was great!! the fireworks were awesome. haha.. one thing tt i'm impressed with is tt, though it was raining for sum parts of the procession, the participants weren't dampened by it... haha (i must admit i'm quite curious on how are they going to proceed with the parade if it continued raining lolx)

fortunately, the weather came up jus fine towards the middle.

I'm sure everyone knew that the day before national day, was the Olympics Opening at Beijing. It was a grand affair... i saw it on tv. everything was magnificent. the lightings were bright, music was loud... the people? filled with fervour and joy... the authorities had certainly put great efforts into preparing the city for the augural event.

Haha... two ceremonies in two days. though varying in size, it speaks out the heart of the people...

well watched like 2 movies, John Woo's Red Cliff which is superb, by the way and and Hellboy 2, which is also a worthy watch... =) Up and coming will be The Dark Knight and The mummy.... lovely!

Plus, 4 bdays will be celebrated this mth.... plus a tentative KTV session.... phew... u see la.. how can i not be dazed... u tell me la.. ha!

hey... hmmm was very tired ytd so nvr updated my blog... hmmm... so am i now... hoho!! but i took pictures of my activities over the weekend... so without further ado, i'll let the photos do the talking ok? wat u see is wat u get~ hehe...

On sat, Went to vivocity for the movie "Hancock" while waiting for time to pass... guess wat we saw??

It is said to be the fastest sailing ship in the world... or so I've heard...
Well went up to haf a look...
It was indeed a splendid ship!! saw ropes and knots on board... wat a familiar sight~ *nostalgic*
... and i like the hull profile, u dun see many of these ships around anymore, am glad to haf been given a chance to experience this grandeur of a ship....
Sun!! My brother's OCS Family visiting day!! Smart right? lol

Well, went to meet up with ji hui and guys at pasir ris park... afterwhich we headed to downtown east... and we saw cosplay!!!

so far, shes not convinced.. lolx~

well i cannot blame her though... given the wide range of music i listen to... frm subtle orchestra pieces to contemporary tunes to jazz to piano tunes... and practically any genre of music.. u name it.. (to those who noe me well, i dun dig metal rock though)...

Its always nice to listen to music dun u tink?? I mean, its very comforting to haf them around u... sumtimes it jus speaks out ur feelings, a subtle variation in the tune may jus improve ur mood... it works in wonderous ways... and am fascinated by it... too bad i can't play music though.. haha..

do you feel the way i do with music?? haha~

haha... yo guys...

haha... i noe i noe... haf not been blogging...

first thing: movie @ VIvo city with firdaus.... well haf not met him for quite sumtime already.. old pal frm sec sch... so yea... due to personal commitments we were not able to plan a meet up. am happy it materialised... =)

Well.. Caught the movie "Wanted"... haha.. after the movie, i wld say its rather "Unwanted"... quite a disappointment i wld say... the plot is superficial, thus affecting the story flow... however the exciting fight/action scenes, consisting of slow motion, bending bullets, sleek moves, compensated to the lack of "Omphf" factor. tt being said, i mus still say tt the movie is not up to expectation... to think i held high hopes for this movie =( rating?? 2.5/5

After that, we decided to head over to the esplanade to try catch a glimpse of the NDP 08 rehearsals...arrived there at abt 4 - 5pm. As expected, the rehearsal was well underway... however, our only aim there was actually to catch the air display... apparently, we were a tad bit early for that... but its not totally boring though... we were treated to displays like kite sailing above the sea, performers wake boarding on water, the usual parachute display, plus familiar NDP songs... and yes, the marching contingent complete with the 21 gun salute....

Around 6.50pm.... with a famliar tune played frm the speakers... i preped my phone cam for sumthing.... seconds later, 6 jets streaked past us, as if to salute the on-lookers. Yes, this is wat we had been waiting for - the Black Knights, our very own jet aerobatic team. well.. still as spectacular as what i saw in Singapore airshow... jus tt minus sum stunts... =) here are sum pics i took... sorry no air display photos..

after that... we jus headed back to hougang...

him? back to home.. me? hehe.. to my usual sat night hideout.. ;)

Well thats the title of the contemporary dance performance that flo invited me to....

and my, am i delighted....

it was top classs!!!! very well choreographed!!! utterly mesmerised!!!! =)
A terrific Visual display of moves... it is sure to capture you by the heart and ur eyes glued to the stage.... woah.. wat a show... frankly, this is my first time seeing such performance as in live... mostly i watch these performances on tv.... well the feeling frm watching it on tv and being there is totally different!!

The choreographer is Mr Hong Sung-yop. The contemporary dance troupe is Dance Theatre ON.

Yet another hiatus.... well, didn't haf the mood to blog.. keke...

well, a couple of things happened these few days... firstly, my brother POPed frm his BMT stint in tekong.. and is currently awaiting his posting orders... keke.. hope he gets wat he wans =)

watched 2 movies - Kungfu Panda & The Incredible Hulk.

well, the first- a very funny animation film about a panda named Po, saving the day in his village against the villainous leopard, Tai Lung. Under the direction of his master, Shi Fu and 5 of his formidable disciples - Tigress, Crane, Monkey, Praying Mantis and Snake, Po overcame his physical barriers and became a formidable warrior himself... well, you get the picture =) hmmm, a rating of 3/5

Well the second - This installation of the Hulk is much more better than the initial version by director lee ang. It has a more sinister setting and more down to earth than the previous one. like IronMan, this movie was produced by Marvel Studios itself thus giving it an 'authentic' feel to it. =) Good graphics, intense battle scenes especially the show down between Hulk and The Abomination. Imagine 2 titans of immense power, battling out on the streets... haha.. everthing jus crumbles like sand... Nice show i mus say... i'm giving it a 3.5/5 rating

hmmm... tts abt it... oh wait, before i go....

haha... does this make you drool?? or hungry?? haha.. well went Marina Square's food court for dinner with my family... and my dad recommended this.... Katong Laksa with bread... the bread is hollowed out and filled with, in this case, seafood like sotong, fish slices with vegetables...The stall's name is Pong's Laksa House... anyway the stall has a quite prominent signboard, it should be easy to spot... The laksa was very nice!!! very rich and creamy and together with bread soaked in it.... HEAVENLY... lol really.. so ya, if u happen to dine at the said food court, give it a try ya ;)

seriously, seeing them play... it is obvious tt the players lack communication... the soccer scene here is jus too small and underdeveloped.... and yet we haf tall order dreams like that....

Its jus like planting a seed, giving it jus a little water and expecting it to bear beautiful fruits...

well yea... upon seeing these two words... wat do u haf in mind??

For me, they are my parents....

i noe this sounds cliche... but i really haf to say they are my guardian angels.... (do not fret my frens, u r my vice angels =]) well dun u tink they are trully amazing?? its not abt responsibility or anything... but the unconditional love and care they give u... in this case, to me....

However, it is for tt very reason, i haf let them down.... looking back... i tink i had really let them down alot... misunderstanding their good intentions... I had let my blind heart lead me by the nose... and now, it is done certain damage.... i'm not sure is it repairable but I jus wann say i'm sorry...

I dun think i haf tt confidence and courage to face them and this fact... I wanna do good, i truly do.. its not tt i do not know.. i know the whole picture very well... I'm jus not sure... too weak...

When will i step out of this vile circle of psychological barriers?? am i up to it??

Or will i slip deeper into the crevice??

.... theres sumthing wrong with my life.

Many had happened and yet its not worth recalling... It like i've fallen into this deep crevice in the earth... Year after year, slowly but relentlessly, it accumulates... Only I myself will understand this feeling tt is pricking my heart from time to time...

I'm not expecting u guys to also contemplate this feeling tt i haf (if you DO care at all) There are reasons to wat i do and behave... maybe tts good? maybe it can make me see things clearly and mould me into a nice person?? well only time will tell...
